Walax 12-string PV combiner box rated 500V DC for residential and small commercial PV arrays. Steel or ABS enclosure to IP65 with per-string DC fuses, a DC isolator switch and Class II DC surge protection — pre-wired and tested to IEC 61439-2 and IEC 61439-8.

12-String Ready

12 PV string inputs with individual gPV fuses for safe paralleling of all array strings up to 120A total output.

Class II SPD + Isolator

Integrated DC surge arrester (In 20kA / Imax 40kA) and 500V 125A DC switch-disconnector for maintenance isolation.

IEC 61439 Compliant

Designed, type-tested and CE-certified to IEC 61439-2 / IEC 61439-8 for PV string-protection assemblies.

Is it suitable for outdoor mounting?

Yes – the IP65 enclosure (IP66 / IP67 on request) is rated for outdoor wall-mount installation with cable glands facing down.

What fuse rating is used?

Each string uses a gPV-rated 1000V DC fuse sized 1.25 × Isc of the PV string. Standard sizes are 10 / 15 / 16 / 20A; custom sizes on request.

Does it include surge protection?

Yes – a Class II DC SPD with In 20kA and Imax 40kA is fitted as standard to protect the inverter from lightning-induced surges.

Can the enclosure be steel or ABS?

Yes – we offer powder-coated steel for higher mechanical strength or UV-stabilised ABS for corrosion-free outdoor service.

What is the maximum DC voltage?

The standard model is rated 500V DC. 1000V DC and 1500V DC variants are available on request.

Can it be supplied with monitoring?

Yes – an optional monitoring module measures per-string current, SPD status and enclosure temperature, exposed over Modbus-RTU.

Do you provide test reports?

Yes – IEC 61439-2 type-test reports and CE documentation ship with every order. Country-specific certifications (SONCAP, PVOC, SABER) on request.
