What is the difference between a 12-way and a 24-way box?

A 12-way box combines up to 12 PV strings at 500V DC, sized for residential and small commercial arrays. A 24-way box combines up to 24 PV strings at 1000V DC for commercial and utility-scale plants.

Does it include surge protection?

Yes – a Class II DC SPD (In 20kA, Imax 40kA) is fitted as standard on both poles to protect the inverter from lightning-induced surges.
